Dr Shilpi Sharma is a well-trained Head Neck cancer surgeon with a vast experience in detecting and treating all types of head neck cancers. Dr Shilpi is currently associated with Narayana Super Specialty Hospital, Gurgaon, India as Senior Head and Neck Cancer Surgeon. Dr Sharma has an overall experience of 17 years. She is one of the highest qualified Head and Neck Cancer Surgeons,not only in Delhi NCR but in the entire country. Her expertise lies in operating upon cancers involving mouth, tongue, jaw, cheek,  larynx , thyroid, parathyroid, parotid,neck and nasopharynx.   She has a distinct expertise in managing voice prosthesis related problems following laryngectomy for larynx cancers.  Surgery for thyroid and parathyroid cancers is another area of her expertise. She has been trained under very fine thyroid surgeons and has acquired the similar skills. Dr Shilpi Sharma is also a great exponent of laser cancer surgery which is one of the latest developments in head and neck cancer surgeries. Apart from the routine surgeries, she is expert in handling post-radiotherapy recurrences, difficult and complicated surgeries.She is also apt in performing reconstruction surgeries for cancers.

Dr Sharma is a graduate of prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, India and a post graduate in ENT from Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi India. She is also a Diplomat of National Board (DNB) in ENT. To start her journey of becoming an accomplished head and neck cancer surgeon she chose Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai, India as the first step, which is the best institute and mecca for any aspiring cancer surgeon. Further she went on to complete M.Ch in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery from the same institute. Dr Shilpi Sharma has been associated with some of the best hospitals in India like National Cancer Institute, Nagpur and Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, Mumbai, India.

She has been a regular invitee as speaker and panelist in numerous national and international conferences. Dr Sharma is extensively involved in training and teaching aspiring head and neck cancer surgeons. In order to constantly upgrade her skill she keeps attending various confecrences, training programmes and seminars in India as well as abroad.
